Death & Resurrection
Part 1
A lot has happened since the final battle with the forces of evil. Angel Grove has been rebuilt after the destruction from the final battle, Eric and Amanda are now married and are expecting their first child, a son. The Command Center and Power Chamber were rebuilt with the help of Eric, Alpha 6, Alpha 5 (who returned after Zordon's destruction), Dimitria, and Billy. But the biggest change was that the rangers where more open to the public as far as helping the kids out and families in need. Eric started his own program at the juice bar training young warriors to be Jedi Knights, now that Eric was dubbed a Jedi Knight by his Jedi Master, Lucas.
Everything was good again, but only a short time would pass when something bad happened. We see Eric and Rocky who decided to come home to be Eric's helper in the Jedi Class talking to the class.
Eric- Okay good job guys. Remember, let the force flow through your body. Keep up the good job.
Just then Eric's communicator goes off.
Rocky- Okay good job, class is dismissed!
Eric- Go ahead Alpha!
Alpha- Eric, the Command Center and Power Chamber is complete. We just need you to get the computers functioning so we can get Dimitria on line!
Eric- Okay Alpha good work, Rocky and I are on the way!
Rocky- Wow I can't believe that the Command Center is back up and running!
Eric- Yeah I know. It's been 4 years since the explosion but we've worked hard to get it back up.
Rocky- But why rebuild when evil is destroyed?
Eric- well because we are still Power Rangers and we need a place to hold our powers and stuff. We can't stay on the Astro Ship all our lives as Rangers! And besides our duty is not done. Now we protect the Earth from crime and wars. That's what our job is now.
Rocky- yeah you're right.
As Eric and Rocky gets ready to go to the Command Center to finish hooking the computers to get Dimitria and communication systems across the galaxy on line, a big explosion occurs in space. It turns out to be a hole in the space time continuum. Coming with it is a new set of problems for the rangers!
Alpha- Rangers hurry we have a disturbance!
Eric- Disturbance? Ok contact the others we are on the way!
The rangers teleport to the Command Center where Alpha explains what just happened in space.
Alpha- I'm afraid someone evil did this.
Cassie- who would do such a thing?
Eric- I think I know. Lord Zedd and Rita!
Alpha- Correct Eric, and Divatox too. Sensors indicate they came either from our ZEO or Turbo days as Rangers.
Ashley- Look what are those!
Zhane- I don't know but they are mean looking!
Andros- lets go take care of them!
Dimitria who just entered the Command Center says
Dimitria- Rangers please be careful. I sense Divatox has a weapon called the Cannon of Death. With it she can go right through your ranger uniforms and destroy you!
TJ- lets do it!
Eric- LETS ROCKETT!
Gold- ok guys lets do it
The rangers fight the monster but the battle grows weak. Just then Divatox appears!
Red- Divatox I though you were history!
Divatox- I was but now I'm back from the past to destroy you all! HA HA!
Pink- you're mine Divatox!
Divatox sees Cassie trying to attack her; she fire's the cannon right into Cassie's stomach and genitalia area, blowing her stomach and intestines out. She screams in agony. Blood is shot everywhere. Cassie falls to the ground and dimorphs. She lays motionless.
Black- Cassie! NO! She's got no pulse!
Gold- Carlos, no She's gone!
Black- Divatox are fucking dead now you pirate space bitch!
Carlos fires his weapon at Divatox but she blocks the shot, grabs the lance and stabs him in the heart with it. He lays dead also, powers destroyed. Ashley goes against Divatox but Divatox uses Carlos' lunar lance to slit her throat. Ashley, flatline! TJ was next! Divatox blew his head right off with one shot of the cannon. Zhane was nailed in the chest by the cannon. All that was left was Andros and Eric, Andros, furious with the death of his friends and girlfriend gave it all he got but the Mega Putties got a hold of Andros and Divatox grabbed his head, took his mask off, head butted him, and then snapped his neck in two. All the 6 rangers laid dimorphed and dead in the park in Angel Grove. All that was left was dead bodies, Divatox, the Mega Putties, and the Gold Astro Ranger, Eric. Eric thought about attacking Divatox but then remembered that his Jedi Master, Lucas, telling him in the past that he'd have to make a decision that would effect his life, Eric decided to dimorph.
Eric- Power Down!
With tears in his eyes and anger swelling up Eric stares down Divatox with a hatred he's never felt before.....
Eric- This is not over yet Divatox! You want me, come and get me!
With Angel Grove citizens watching the horror of the rangers being destroyed and now the leader of the team most likely being the next victim, Divatox charges Eric. Eric doesn't budge one bit, then just before she gets to Eric; she stops dead in her tracks. Andros' Spiral Saber is jabbed right into the middle of Divatox's back. Eric used the power of the force to stab her. She drops the cannon. Eric calls for his lighsaber to destroy her.
Divatox- I'll see you in hell Gold Ranger!
Eric- Sorry but I don't plan to be there!
Eric, with one stroke of his left hand, turns on his black lightsaber with gold streaks and kills Divatox with one hit.
Eric- say hello to Dark Specter you bitch!
Eric then goes to his fallen friends and lets out in anger, sorrow and disgust! ............NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Citizen- someone call for help. The Lightstar rangers have been hurt!
Eric- no it's too late! They're dead! May the Lord be with them!
It's been five days since the deaths of the 6 Lightstar Rangers. All the former rangers came home to pay their respects. Ever ranger sat in the front. Everyone was back. Jason, Tommy, Kimberly, Kat, Billy, Ryan, and others said their farewells.
Andros and Zhane were taken back to their home planet of KO35 for burial on the Astro Mega ship with Andros' sister Karone. She never returned but kept up to date with the rangers. The other 4 rangers were laid to rest in Angel Grove cemetery. A statue honoring the fallen rangers was placed at their site. Of course the hardest hit by the deaths was the leader Eric. Eric knew he came close to losing his life and widowing his wife and soon to be newborn son. Amanda goes to comfort her husband.
Amanda- Hey you ok?
Eric- I should have saved them! This shouldn't have happened!
Tommy- Eric, you did the best you could, you would have been destroyed, and Divatox would be still around. You got to move on!
Eric- I promise revenge. (Grabs switch blade from pocket and cuts his hand) I swear it on my own blood; I will avenge their deaths!
As the friends looked on, Eric covered his hand tightly with a hanky, walked away and didn't look back.
Amanda- where you going?
Eric- I'll be fine. I got to do something.
Dimitria- Alpha, what is the situation with Lord Zedd?
Alpha- no change I'm afraid.
Just then Eric teleports into the Command Center and without warning, he pushes a few buttons and out of no where comes a black box with Gold and green trim, and the remains of the ZEO crystals.
Alpha- Eric, what are you doing?
Eric- relax Alpha, I have a plan.
Eric teleports to his home to work with the contents of the box and the ZEO crystals.
5 days pass over, since the funeral. Tommy, Kimberly, Adam, Trini, and Jason are at the juice bar with Rocky when Rocky's communicator goes off.
Rocky- this is Rocky.
Eric- Rocky this is Eric, can you and the former Rangers teleport to the Command Center please.
Rocky- oh sure! We're on the Way!
Tommy- I wonder what's going on?
Kim- we're about to find out.
The six friends teleport to the Command Center. Alpha 6, Dimitria, Amanda, and Eric are there for their arrival.
Trini- Eric! You're ok!
Eric- yes I'm fine!
Jason- so what's up man?
Eric- I've called the 6 of you here today to announce a momentous occasion! As you know Lord Zedd and Rita and their goons are back. Without any ranger team but myself to protect the Earth, I've decided the time has come for a brand new power ranger team. I have chosen 6 warriors, and I've selected you guys.
Rocky- thanks Eric. But why us?
Eric- the new powers I have created are so advanced and powerful that I needed rangers that know how to handle the power and you 6 have done it before so I figured you'd be perfect! The only question is do you want to join?
Zedd- everything is working out just like I hoped! Now with the Power Rangers down to 1 living ranger, the world will be ours for the taking! HA HA HA!
Rita- Zeddy, aren't you worried about the Rangers getting new powers?
Zedd- no because I'm sending my Mega Putties down to earth now so they won't have time to re charge! HA HA HA
Tommy- I'm in! I'd be honored to be back on this team and to be a ranger in the memory of our fallen friends.
Jason- count me in two
Kim- Me three
Trini- Me four
Eric- Rocky, Adam you guys in?
Adam- like I said when I helped Carlos out during his tough time, I still wished I was a ranger, and now is my chance to live on in his place! I'm there!
Rocky- Me too Eric!
Eric- very well the new powers you guys are about to receive are the most powerful we have ever had! I took the remaining power of the ZEO crystals and the power coins and combined them together. With that, I used the power of Mother Nature's power to get our new ranger powers. When I call your name, step forward and receive your Storm Morphed and weapons. I know present to you the Storm Powers!
Kimberly, in the past you relied on the birds of the sky! Now you will take to the sky's with the mighty Pink Tornado powers! As you use your Tornado Bow, use what you learned, not only as a former ranger, but also as a Jedi to use your powers at full to defeat all evil!
Kim- thanks Eric!
Eric- Jason, The Green Storm Ranger powers are yours. As you use the Mighty Dragon Dagger and Hurricane Sword, you will be one of the toughest to be taken down. Adam, as the Red Storm Ranger, you'll control the mighty Volcano Lance, use the wrath of the Volcano to burn up all in your path! Trini, the power of the Yellow Storm Ranger, and the sandstorm stars are yours. Use your know how to get around your enemies! Rocky, The White Storm Ranger is your new identity! Using the frigid cold of the Ice storm, your sidekick Saba will mentor you to victory, similar to how he helped Tommy! Congratulations.
Rocky- morphin!
Eric- and Tommy! You are second in command as the Black Storm Ranger. Your weapon is the mighty Typhoon Saber. Use your karate skills and Jedi skills wisely as you defeat Zedd's most dangerous monsters yet! Congratulations, we are now known as the Storm Rangers!
Tommy- I feel totally energized!
Rocky- what about Zords?
Eric- I'm currently working on Storm Warrior Zords with Alpha and Billy. We hope to have them operational soon. Until then, we will recharge and activate the Super ZEO Zords, the Dragon Zord and the Voyager and Gold Astro Zords. I've also contacted Ninjor to see if he can help us get the Shogun and Ninja Zords working also!
Trini- I can't wait to get working!
Alpha- oh no! Mega Putties are attacking!
Dimitria- the Mega putties are attacking the citizens of Angel Grove!
Eric- okay guys its time to test out those new powers!
Jason- lets get to work!
Tommy- ITS MORPHING TIME!
Tommy- Black Storm Ranger Power
Kim- Pink Storm Ranger Power
Adam- Red Storm Ranger Power
Trini- Yellow Storm Ranger Power
Rocky- White Storm Ranger Power
Jason- Green Storm Ranger Power
Eric- LETS ROCKETT!
Eric- Gold Astro Ranger Power!
Rangers- Power Rangers!
The citizen's of Angel Grove see the new team of Power Rangers with the Gold Astro Ranger and begin to cheer! Rito and Goldar see the new team of rangers and get a little scared.
Rito- oh no, this isn't good!
Gold- okay you space bastards! You killed our friends, and now we're gonna take you out! You guys ready!
Green- lets do it!
All the rangers pose in fighting stance as Goldar and Rito stand there in horror as the scene fades out.
