The Fall Of The Phoenix
Part 2
Last time on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers we saw tired Rangers trying to enjoy and relax themselves after numerous attacks from Zedd since Tommy rejoined the team as White Ranger, and Eric's departure as the powerless Orange Ranger. Zedd sent Goldar to Earth with a brand new evil zord, the Phoenix. The zord did major damange to the Thunder Zords. The Rangers called for help but when at the Command Center they saw that it was shut down again and Zordon and Alpha were gone. The Rangers left to meet Billy back at his lab while he went to the hidden chamber to see if Zordon and Alpha were down there...they were. They were creating the replacement Ranger to the Orange Ranger..the only question now is..Who is the new 7th Ranger?Zedd- My plan is working perfectly!
Goldar- With the Rangers Thunder Zords damanged and Zordon gone we can finally take control of the world!
Zedd- Quite right Goldar. And I think now is the right time for an attack. Ha ha!
Back at Billy's lab.
Tommy- Ok Billy spill your guts what's the latest?
Trini- Yeah did you find Alpha or Zordon?
Billy- *pauses* Yeah I did. They were back in the hidden chamber, and like we thought they were busy down there.
Zack- Are you saying....???
Kim- No way!!!
Billy- I'm afraid so. They're making a 7th Ranger. I didn't see or get any clues who it is.
Jason- Hmm perfect timing. We sure are gonna need a powerfull Ranger to fight this Phoenix zord, especially with the Thunder and Tiger zords damanged.
Billy- Judging by what I heard, this is gonna be one powerfull Ranger, who's powers is like Tommy's, created the same way so the force of evil can never take them away...this is gonna help us greatly.
Alpha- There we go. All systems are back online and full power is restored. Hopefully we won't have to do that again.
Zordon- Quite right Alpha. Now we must contact the Rangers.
Alpha- I'm contacting them now.
*Communicators go off*
Trini- Here we go.
Billy- Remember from before. Don't question their judgement. This is Zordon's decision, no matter who the Ranger is.
Tommy- This is Tommy.
Zordon- Tommy, you and the Rangers must teleport to the Command Center.
Tommy- We're just glad to hear from you. We got attacked.
Zordon- We will discuss it later. Please come here right away.
Tommy- We're on the way.
*All 6 Rangers teleport to the Command Center*
Zordon- Welcome Power Rangers. Today marks a new day in history for the Power Ranger team. As you know, since the addition of the White Ranger, and the losses of the Green and Orange Rangers, Lord Zedd's monsters have been tougher and with more damaging results. Alpha and I felt that having Tommy back on the team was a great relief to the team. But lately we've been getting damaged more and our power sources to the Zords have been at their lowest at times. Therefore Alpha and I worked together, and we created an all new powerfull Ranger to combat Lord Zedd and his Thunder monsters.
*Everyone at this time looks at each other*
Zordon- And now my friends, I introduce to you. The Purple Ranger.
Behind the Rangers in the darkness by the Viewing Globe bright colors of Purple and Gold appear. A figure dressed in a Purple and Gold Power Ranger suit emerges. His suit is exactly alike to the one time Green Ranger. Same shield and all except for obvious differences.
Zordon- Welcome Purple Ranger. May I ask that you take off your helmat so we can share to your teammates your identity.
The Ranger does what he's told and flips the clips on the sides of his helmat and starts to take it off.....
Goldar- Well Well! Angel Grove at rush hour. Its time for complete destruction! Phoenix Zord! Destroy it all! AHH HA HA HA!
Back in the Command Center the Ranger has his helmat off in full, and the Rangers begin to smile.
Familiar Voice- Did you miss me?
Zack- Heck yes Eric!
The Rangers give Eric hugs and pats on the back.
Alpha- Ayi Yai Yai this is so great to see you seven back together!
Zordon- So Rangers, may I assume Alpha and I choose well?
Tommy- Zordon, this is awesome.
Zordon- Once again, our apologies. We had to guard against Lord Zedd from interfering with us.
Kim- Zordon, is Eric's situation like Tommy's? Eric didn't lose his Orange Ranger powers, but the Ranger powers went powerless?
Zordon- Yes Kimberly. Eric didn't lose the Orange Ranger powers, the Orange Ranger powers are non existant. Eric has proven himself to be loyal, spirited, and trustworthy. His leadership qualities and compassion to be apart of the Ranger team made our decison easy. Your powers, like Tommy's were created by the power of light and goodness, and will never be taken away by the forces of evil.
Alpha- The Purple Ranger will control the Thunder Battle Zord, a Zord of strength and fierceness. You'll also have the Cougar Thunder Zord, but that zord will be mostly used for your Thunder Zords shields.
Zordon- You will also be given back the Dragon Zord. With Green Ranger gone, and the last traces of the Green Ranger powers infussed into your former Orange Ranger powers, we hoped it would be enough for you to continue to be the Orange Ranger, and continue using the Dragon Zord for your own, but you couldn't. Now with advanced powers you can. We've made major adjustments to the Dragon Zord and its ready for battle against Zedd's tough monsters.
Alpha- You will control two weapons, the Dragon Daggar which has new features on it, and an enchanted sword named Excaliber. He will assist you in battle as well as control the two Thunder Zords.
Zordon- Extend your hand Purple Ranger and except all that is being given to you. Congradulations Eric. Your a great friend and a true Ranger, and I'm honored to have you on the team again.
Eric- Its great to be back!
*alarm*
Alpha- Oh no! The Phoenix Zord is back in town.
Tommy- Zordon, the zords were toasted in the last battle. What do we do?
Zordon- Billy and Trini will go work on fixing the zords.
Billy- We're on it! *Billy and Trini teleport*
Zordon- Tommy, Jason, Kimberly and Zack, there is a squad of Putties in the park. While the Zords are being fixed, you can go take them out.
Jason- Right.
Zordon- Eric, you must take on the Phoenix and stall it until the other Rangers are able to join you. Go now and may the power protect you!
Tommy- Its Morphin Time!
Tommy- Tiger Zord
Zack- Mastodon
Kim- Pterodactyl
Jason- Tyrannasauras
Eric- Thunder Zord
White- Lets do it guys!
Rangers- Right!
Purple- Ok Goldar! I'm back and I'm gonna be your worse nightmare!
Goldar- We shall see about that!
Purple- Thunder Zord power up!
The Zord comes out and is ready for action but just then Excaliber makes a bad move and the zord crashes into a building.
Purple- WOAH! Hey buddy, what's the deal?
Excaliber- I'm sorry. I haven't done this in ages.
Purple- You sure have proven that to me! Now lets do it! SIYAAAA!
Purple- Purple Thunder Zord..Dragon Mode...Battle Ready now!
The Phoenix fires at Eric numerous times, Eric begins to get a little P.Oed.
Purple- Thunder Zord convert to battle mode now!
Goldar- Impressive but you'll never get me!
Purple- Thunder punch!
Goldar blocks Eric's punch and shoots his Phoenix lasers at the Thunder Zord..knocking it to the ground and Eric out of the Zord.
Excaliber- Oh man that is not good.
Purple- Better contact Tommy.
Zordon- Billy, is the zords ready yet?
Billy- Yeah tell Tommy to go ahead we'll come to meet them in the zords.
Tommy and the gang continue to fight the putties in the park.
Black- I tell you they're just dumb. They don't know when to quit!
White- Hey metal head. Meet Saba! Iya SiIya!
Excaliber- I can't get through to the White Ranger!
Purple- Tommy! Come on man I need your help!
White- Mega Tiger Zord!
Purple- I need Purple Thunder power now!
Purple- Time for more power! Thunder Mega Cougar Zord!
Red- Lock all weapons on target!
Goldar- Uh OH! I'm outta here!
Rangers- Fire!
Purple- Thunder Sword! FIRE!
*Phoenix Zord destroyed*
Eric- I tell ya what. I"m so glad to be back. I loved being home in Michigan, but I can't deny it. I love being with my friends.
Trini- Well we missed you alot. And now that your back, much needed fire power and teamwork is back.
Eric- Thanks. *holds glass out* To friends!
Everyone holds their glasses out to Eric's and they clank each others glasses.
Rangers- To friends!
